Ear Institute of Chicago is an independent practice specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the ear and surrounding skull base. This practice was founded by Dr. Richard Wiet in 1982, under the name Chicago Otology Group, Ltd., it was renamed Ear Institute of Chicago, LLC in 2005.
Hearing Aid Center of Hinsdale specializes in hearing rehabilitation using assistive listening devices, hearing aids, hearing aid accessories, and tinnitus treatments.
Our three board certified Neurotologists specialize in hearing and balance disorders, cochlear implants, facial nerve, ear, and lateral skull base surgery. They are affiliated with the following medical centers: Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Rush University Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Alexian Brothers Medical Center, and Hinsdale Surgical Center. Our four audiologists are certified and licensed by the state of Illinois. Our audiologists perform diagnostic testing for hearing and balance disorders, evaluation and programming of hearing aids, BAHAs, and cochlear implants, and treatment for tinnitus.
